Description

Explore the northern parks of Tanzania before crossing the border into Kenya to discover the Masai Mara. Travel during migration months and follow the herds as they make their epic journey from the Serengeti northwards into the Mara.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met by a representative who will assist you with your luggage and take you to your driver. From here you will drive to the Arusha Coffee Lodge, nestled in the foothills of Mount Meru,  where you'll spend your first night in Tanzania.

From the industrious coffee pickers gathering in the harvest to the aromas of the morning brew emanating from the main Plantation House as breakfast is being prepared, Arusha Coffee Lodge is full of sensory experiences that revitalizes the body and soul for the adventures and excitement that lie ahead.

Drive from Arusha Coffee Lodge via Lake Manyara National Park for a picnic lunch. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for housing vast flocks of flamingos, tree-climbing lions, and one of the highest concentrations of elephants in all of Tanzania.

From here you will transfer onto the Nomad Entamanu Lodge where you'll spend the next two nights. Off the beaten track, in the Maasai territory, experience stunning panoramic views spanning from Ngorongoro Crater and back to the Serengeti plains.

Today you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater on a game drive with an experienced guide. The landscape here shifts greatly depending on the season, and you're guaranteed to observe scenes found nowhere else in Tanzania.

The park was established as a conservation area for wildlife and the semi-nomadic Maasai population that reside in it. Variations in climate, landforms, and altitude produce a range of habitats that can support a variety of wildlife and has led to a network of overlapping ecosystems. The crater is home to some 30,000 animals, some of which migrate here during the Great Migration, and others that stay here year-round.

Drive from the Nomad Entamanu Lodge to Lake Manyara Airstrip. From here you will board your light air flight to the Kogatende Airstrip.  Spend the next three nights at Kuria Hills Lodge, spending days on safari and nights over sundowners.

Lemala Kuria Hills is in close proximity to the Mara River on the Serengeti’s border with Kenya’s Maasai Mara, so is also within the main corridor of the world-famous wildebeest migration between July and October.

Select from a variety of exciting activities offered on-site to make the most of your day, including morning and afternoon game drives.

One of the most famous destinations in Africa, this UNESCO world heritage park is the stage for the dramatic wildebeest migration that takes place each year. Tanzania’s oldest park, covering a whopping 1.5 million hectares, it's home to an incredible diversity of animals.

As well as the famous wildebeest migration, the park is home to the Big Five: rhino, lions, leopards buffalo, and elephants. Alongside these, you'll find giraffes, mongooses, baboons, aardvarks, colobus monkeys, monitor lizards, and giant Nile crocodiles. The park also has the highest ostrich population in Africa and more than 350 species of birds.

Transfer from the lodge to the Kogatende Airstrip. From here you will catch a flight to Tarime and a transfer from Tarime to the Migori Airstrip. Spend three nights at Sand River Mara.

Situated on a secluded and picturesque site, Sand River Masai Mara replicates the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920s. The lodge is an ideal destination at any time of the year for those wishing to enjoy exceptional game-viewing. The National Reserve is best known for its large concentrations of big cats, such as leopard, cheetah and, of course, lion.

Select from a variety of exciting activities offered on-site to make the most of your day, including morning and afternoon game drives.

The Maasai Mara is the most popular safari destination in East Africa, along with the Serengeti in northern Tanzania, often called the Jewel of Africa, the Maasai Mara takes its name from the Maasai tribe who have inhabited these lands since the 17th century.

The Maasai is one of Africa's best safari destinations. The reserve has excellent wildlife densities, and there are a number of ways to explore. Game drives and walking safaris take you up close to the animals, and it's possible to take to the skies via hot air balloon for aerial views of the savannah. Horseback safaris are also possible here.

Catch a flight from the Mara Airstrip to Wilson Airport. From here you will transfer to the hotel Hemingways where you'll spend the night.

Relax on your private balcony overlooking the iconic silhouette of the Ngong Hills, a magical view which can also be enjoyed over sundowners at the bar.

Transfer from the hotel to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to connect with your international flight.

My experience with Roger as a tourist guide in Uganda Awsome experience! We traveled around Uganda and saw animals, climbed Mt.Elgon and visited a tribe. Our guide was very genuine and funny. The only thing I would have liked more is a breifing of the day. Other than that I totally recommend Roger as a Tourist Guide!!

Murchison falls - a 3 day customized safari tour The Game Ranger Tours team took us to a three day safari to the Murchison falls - the national park in the north-western Uganda. The owner of the travel agency - Roger - prepared a customized programme for us. We left Kampala at about 1 pm and drove for about six hours to the park to catch the last ferry to the other side of Nile at 7pm. After crossing the river, we were accommodated in a beautiful lodge called Paraa Safari. Next morning we started early to safari game drive across the savannah grassland. Our tour guide and driver - Juuko knew every road in the park. He took us to places where we saw giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, antelopes, kobs, elephants and many more wild animals and birds. The drive was a fantastic experience we'll never forget. In the afternoon we got back to the lodge to have lunch and then at about 3 pm took a boat to the falls - so beautiful nature sight! On the third day, before heading back to Kampala Roger and Juuko took us to the top of the falls where we could actually see how powerfull and strong the waterfall is! On our way to Kampala we visited the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary too and were lucky to see a baby rhino and its parents. After the three full days of adventure, we safely returned to the capital. Thank you so much, Roger and Juuko, for taking care of us and for showing us how beautiful Uganda is. Hope to see you again!

My woderful stay in Entebbe and Uganda During my stay in Entebbe, I eas able to fufil my childhood dreams, namely to touch the waters of Victoria Lake and, then, to travel to the soirces of the Nile. My best tour guide was, of course, Ras. His name has got a powerful meaning in Ethiopian, i.e. Prince. He is a genuine prince by heart, character and manner. To me, Entebbe is the city of God. Uganda and Tanzania are the countries to which I would always come back. If Africa has its heart, then the heart's two chambers are Tanzania and Uganda. To all white people like me, I wpuld like to say that the cradle of the mankind is to be found in Africa. My skin is white, but my heart is black. And I ma proud of it.
