You will be met by your driver on arrival in Nairobi and transferred to Wilson Airport for the flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival at the airstrip, meet with your guide from Serian, who will take you on a game drive en route to the camp.

Serian Camp is a small bush camp situated in a secluded valley on the banks of the Mara River. It offers eight safari tents, all of them elegantly furnished and set in the shade of Walburgia and Oleadra trees. The tents have adjoining open-sided bush bathrooms with flush toilets, showers, and large bush bathtubs.

Among Serian’s greatest attractions is its unique “Treehouse Nest”, which occupies a lone Warburgia tree within walking distance of the camp. Here you can dine and sleep outside under the stars, with only the rustling tree canopy separating you from the star-filled African night sky.
The Nest is equipped with a huge oval “nest bed”, complete with soft pillows and hot water-bottles for those chilly winter nights! There’s a flush toilet in the tree house and a hot water bucket shower at the foot of the tree.

The location of the Nest is fabulous, with views over a wide expanse of savannah and the Mara River, which attracts a great variety of wildlife, including innumerable hippo! In a unique touch, the nest is equipped with night vision cameras providing you with a greater chance of spying some of the Mara’s rarely sighted nocturnal species, such as genet and serval. While in the Nest you will be guarded by a Masai askari, so you can sleep peacefully and wake to a beautiful African sunrise.
