Best Time to Visit
The best time for birdwatching in Rwanda, particularly for this safari, is during the dry seasons from December to February and June to September. These periods offer clearer skies and less rainfall, making trekking and game drives more comfortable. The wet season (March-May and October-November) is also an excellent time for birdwatching as it coincides with the arrival of migratory birds, and resident birds are more active with breeding. However, some forest trails might be slippery.
